Why Rare Disease Day Matters

There are over 7,000 known rare diseases, affecting an estimated 300 million people worldwide. Despite this, most rare diseases have no approved treatment. Raising awareness is the first step towards changing this.

For CASK families, Rare Disease Day is a chance to feel seen — and to remind the world that rare doesn't mean forgotten.
